A fire that started in the town of Ponyville, in one house, led to the death of Mare. E. Walter, along with her parents. No one has ever figured out where the fire started, and the only eye-witness was Scootaloo, the radical orange filly. It was a tragic day in Ponyville, but that was 10 years ago, and the mystery has never been solved since, but one pony will uncover the mystery, a pony named Detective Derpy Hooves, a clever, outwitting young filly who always dreamed of being an undercover investigator. As she solves the crime, she meets new friends, finds clues, and understands that solving a case is not all it’s cracked up to be. Will Derpy ever solve the greatest mystery in all of Ponyville?! READ TO FIND OUT!

This picture really captures the sentiment of the fanfic by ROBCakeran53 called My Little Dashie. I just love the emotion in it! Here’s a little description of the fanfic from the image creator, BlackGryph0n – I’m sure you’ll want to read the whole story as soon as you have a chance!

Rainbow dash is found as a filly by a man who lives alone in the house his parents left him after they passed away. Over the course of several years, he raises her as a daughter, never knowing where she came from or how she got there. With the help of her adopted father, Rainbow Dash grows to become the mare we all know. They go through some hard times, they have some fights, yet through it all, their relationship grows ever stronger. On a summer day of the fifteenth year, Princess Celestia and the other five show up at his house to bring Rainbow Dash home with them, explaining that an accident had sent her to our world only a few equestrian days earlier. The final moments between Rainbow Dash and her adopted Dad are some of the saddest words I have ever read.

Oh do I have a treat for you Bronies out there! If you want to take some time out of your day (or night) to read a most fantastic story, I have just the one for you! Beautifully written by an author known as lTofSmitia, it’s a wonderfully compelling story, I literally couldn’t stop reading once I started. I highly urge you to settle in a comphy place with a nice beverage at hand… and enjoy!

I’m so looking forward to more from this writer! (If you’re looking for a Pinkie Pie party-style, happy-go-lucky pony read, well, this might not be for you…)

An interview from the clouds.

 

I found this to be a rather interesting ‘fanfic’ of sorts.  More of an interview, but done from an creative and different perspective on the part of the interviewer.  I think it did a pretty good job of capturing Rainbow Dash’s personality, and I could see other ‘interviews’ like this.  I might ask a different line of questions, but I did get a bit of a chuckle out of the concept.  See what you think of it!
